Our History
Oficially opened on April 11, 2002, ARK MUZIK formed as a voluntary Mobile Disc Jockee service doing work for non-profit organisations such as Local Churches, The Volunteers Of America Lighthouse Association, and friends and family. As a young, talented boy, Andrew Kinnebrew became widly known because of his excellent taste in music and knowlage on what type of music to play for maximum crowd pleasure. Andrew Kinnebrew started out with pretty much a cheap Radio Shack Mixer hooked up to a Sony home theater system and one light. After doing one party for a friend, someone asked him for his card. After hearing that, he knew that the bussiness was going to take more several turns for the best. After several years of experiance, Andrew now uses top of the line brand name equiptment, including a new, just purchased sound system designed and built by none other than, Ron Green. The systems we use today are big enough to drive the Hearsh Colisem in Shreveport, LA.
The No Dirty Lyrics Policy states that we only play CLEAN RADIO EDITED songs that are heard on the local Top 40 stations like K94.5 or XM 20on20. To assure you that all of our songs are 100% clean, we listen to the songs after purchasing or downloading, and we then remove any additional dirty or inappropriate content. Although our music selection is clean, we have no control over the guests filling in the bleeped out or removed content. If we think a song is inappropriate, WE WILL NOT PLAY IT unless approved by the host or sponsor of the event. Because ARK MUZIK aims to meet the best needs of the client, on request we can send you a list of approved songs that are appropriate for the event.
